The Winter 1988 edition of St. Andrew's Magazine introduced the newest faculty members, announced the construction of the Richard C. "Kip" duPont Jr. Boathouse, and welcomed new alumni into leadership positions with the school. Nan Mein visited South Africa with the Episcopal Diocese of Delaware. The stone pillars at the entrance of the school were donated by the Moore family.
