Coerte Voorhees devoted twenty seven years to St. Andrew's School. He made the classics popular, lent taste to the music of the chapel and helped bring victories to his oarsmen.

Dan Holder joined the St. Andrew's faculty in 1933 and retired in 1947. He was a teacher of Latin, Science and Math. Dan was head coach of the crew team for fourteen years and led them to three championships.
